He's ONE!

He was so excited to have his seat forward facing-such a big boy!



The birthday would not be complete without being mauled by his big sis.

It has certainly been an eventful week for us! We celebrated Chris' 39th birthday on Thursday and then on Saturday our baby boy had his first birthday. I cannot believe that Henry is now one. Although it has been a crazy year with very little sleep, I would not trade one single minute of it! One year ago (March 8th, actually), Henry Christopher came into this world at 12:36 am. It was an awesome delivery thanks to our midwife, Erin, at DePaul. God blessed us with the sweetest, snuggliest little baby boy and I have definitely gotten lots of quiet (and not so quiet) time with Henry. The year literally flew by and I wish I could simply put on the brakes and keep him this age for a bit longer. Henry was a star at his party and enjoyed his "smush" cake.
